Hello there, and welcome to Keith Dixon Studios! I appreciate you stopping by to learn a little bit more about us and what we do. In an effort to build a solid working relationship with you, I would like to share a little bit about what brought ME here, and hopefully, I will have the opportunity to hear your story as well.

I have been taking photos since I was five years old. I won my first camera in a sales contest in kindergarten and have never looked back. In high school, I was the guy who always had a camera, and I even sold photos to fellow students. My skills also grew as an event photographer by working for both the yearbook and my JROTC unit.

Unfortunately, no one in my life encouraged my artistic nature, and I was instead directed to follow more intellectual pursuits. I have studied electrical engineering, robotics, computer/software development, respiratory therapy, massage therapy, sales, and even pre-med.

Along the way I got married and had a beautiful daughter. It is true what they say - having a child changes everything. It was the arrival of my best girl that re-awakened my passion for photography. I managed to resist this calling for the first year, but it quickly became obvious that this is what I was always meant to do.

To that end, I began seeking out professional photographers to apprentice with. I had the good fortune of working with four different studios in the southeast and learned more than I ever could have on my own.

And so we end up here. After many twists and turns on the road of life, I have rediscovered my passion for photography. All of my past experience with people, technology, and art have blended into something I am very proud to call my life's work. We've been through lots of changes over the years, and continue to grow and evolve. Recently, I have been inspired to return to my roots. If you have the time, visit our blog to learn more.
